the DēsL philosophy

Every advertising agency has, or should have, a philosophy by which they operate; a core belief that defines the approach to their work, their clients, and the future of their company. The DēsL Group is no different - our philosophy is the exact reason why the company began in the first place. It is an attitude that we all stand behind, and one that we embrace with passionate dedication... people come first.

Sounds cliché, we know. But it’s the honest truth. Family and friends are very important to us. The DēsL Group wouldn’t be in existence if it weren’t for the people closest to us. So, in a way, the agency is an extension of our families. And we carry those values with us when doing business with our clients, vendors, and current and future employees. We treat others as we would expect to be treated.

When it comes to our work, that philosophy still holds true. People are at the heart of all successful advertising and marketing campaigns. It begins with solid communication between us and our clients. Sure, we do our fair share of texting, emailing, and social networking. That’s just the way things operate these days. However, whenever possible, we always prefer a good old-fashioned handshake, a quick cup of coffee, or a more formal business meeting. For us, nothing beats human interaction; it helps us read our clients expressions and emotions, it makes communication easier and more efficient, and it gives us a chance to get to know the people we work with on a much more personal level than an email or phone call could ever accomplish.

All of this doesn’t mean that we can’t or don’t operate remotely for clients not located near us. We have done plenty of business using only phone calls and emails. Additionally, we’re more than happy to hop on a plane for a quick trip. Being located in Dallas, and relatively close to both DFW and Love Field, allows us a lot of travel options.
